I’m not going to lie, this is more of a birthday shopping list. It’s coming up this November and around this time of year, I tend not to buy anything other than must-haves. I’m much like Rachel Green and have a list of what I would like for my birthday and Christmas which everyone asks for- knowing how picky I can be (sorry not sorry).
This year, other than a few clothing items, I am desperate to get my hands on some must have Glossier products. Everyone has been going mad for it and when I was in New York, I desperately tried to find it (sadly I completely walked past it!). There is so much hype around the products and lots of great reviews. I also think from looking at the website, the products are reasonably priced and thanks to the UK warehouse, no unwanted extra fees!
There are some great referral codes floating around from people, so it’s worth picking up some must have Glossier products for yourself or for someone else who is a November baby….
First with skincare. When doing my thorough research, I don’t think you can go wrong with the Glossier Phase 1 Set. For £35.00 you get a cleanser, a moisturiser and a lip balm. I don’t know any other beauty brand were you can get this type of deal- especially for such a cult product as the Milky Jelly Cleanser. Glossier have also recently launched their new body care collection and I’m dying to get my hands on the Oil Body Wash– it sounds lush!
Finally, let us not forget about their face mask collection- their Moisturizing Moon Face Mask is meant to be a hero product for dry skin. Something I would love to get my hands on and test out for a review! Of course, we can’t move on without talking about Glossier Balm Dotcom. There are so many I want to get my hands on with these particular flavours that I want to start off with Coconut, Rose and what else, birthday cake! I mean, why not? We are here to celebrate, aren’t we?
Let’s talk makeup, which is what made this brand such a cult. The first of the makeup products that I want to add to my makeup bag is the Cloud Paint Duo’s, as Emily, the founder encourages you to mix to create your own colour. To be honest, I could have them all, but if I had to rain it in, I would go for Puff & Dusk. And possibly Beam. Oh hell, I want them all!
For the foundation, I’m not sure I am wowed by it. It very much reminds me and looks like The Ordinary Foundation. However, their Stretch Concealer, I’ve many a good thing about it. It’s meant to be so much better than any other concealer thanks to the elastic micro-waxes within the product. I’m also very much interested in trying the Haloscope Highlighter in Quartz or Topaz. Glossier’s Boy Brow is meant to legendary (according to Anna from The Anna Edit– I trust what she says!) Finally, their Generation G Matte Lipstick, is meant to be gorgeous and I want them all! In reality, if I had to whittle it down, I would happy with just having in my collection Cake, Crush and Like. All of these colours look ideal and would work perfectly with the makeup look that I rock on a daily basis.
And there you have it. My giant wish list. Here’s hoping I get some gorgeous birthday treats. If not, a little birthday order might have to be placed as a present to myself- don’t you agree?
Which products are you crushing on from Glossier?
