I’m finally over skinny jeans.
I mean, I’m still gonna wear them in the winter tucked into boots. But for the moment when I’m walking around in my flats, I’m in love with the straight leg jean.
I don’t usually wear ‘proper’ jeans because of my weird shape. So, in the past, I’ve stuck to skinny because they have the elasticity to give them stretch. Over time, my style became static, too similar every single day. Constantly the same outfit.
Recently I’ve had a sudden realisation that my style is becoming set in its way and I need a complete turn around of my wardrobe. I hope you’re ready to come on this journey with me.
Where to Find Them…
I’ve spoken about them in a previous post, but I am in love with these ASOS Farleigh Jeans. They are the perfect fitting ‘mom’ jeans- hight-waisted, straight leg and comfortable. The appeal of these is that it is the equivalent of stealing your boyfriend’s shirt, throwing it on and going about your day. These jeans just go with everything and are so easy to throw on.
The only thing about these jeans is that they are a bugger to find the perfect pair. You need time and patience. The first pair you try one will not be the ones. It will take some time but it will be 100% worth it in the end. I’m not saying that these ASOS jeans will be perfect for you- but it’s worth trying them out.
How to wear them? With anything, but my personal favourite is my leather loafers and a wrap around blouse. I love this blouse but you will be damned to find it anywhere in the stores. If you are interested, this is the link to the item on the Topshop website. Good luck if it does come back into stock.
I would love to know how you did going to finding your jeans and how you pair them together? If you are interested, check out my other style posts here on the blog.
