BEST OF THE NEW COCKTAIL MENU AT CIELO BLANCO

BEST OF THE NEW COCKTAIL MENU AT CIELO BLANCO

Among the many brilliant things that come with summer, a good cocktail is up there at the top of the list.

A good summer cocktail can take you to a far away to a sandy beach, palm trees and a lovely golden tan. Thanks to Cielo Blanco in Trinity Leeds, heading to the sandy beaches of Mexico is right around the corner.

Cielo Blanco launched their new summer menu including new cocktails and accompany food. All cocktails are delicious, but which is the one you should be spending your money on?

Soda Can Paloma

Herencia Blanco Tequila, lime and Squirt. Tasty (when is Tequila not?) It’s very fruity, sharp and almost like a palette cleanser. It goes very well with their new Ceviche Tostada: Salmon, scallop & avocado dressed with a tropical salsa. It’s a lovely cocktail, but it is not my favourite out of the three.

Soooo Pineappley

Plantation Pineapple Rum, pineapple liquor, pineapple Jarritos. Let’s just say, it tastes like pineapple. Very fruity, very summery. Easy to drink, very easy to sip on. Perfect for sitting on the outdoor terrace with their new Al Pastor Pork Tacos: Traditional spit roasted pork, diced onion and coriander. Could happily order a few of these on a girls night out.

Tequila Colada

Herradura Blanco Tequila, horchata, coconut cream, fresh pineapple. This was my absolute favourite cocktail, and not just because it came in a coconut shell. Tequila is becoming my favourite spirit right now (thanks Laura)  and the creaminess of the coconut is just a perfect combination. Paired with their Cactus & Cauliflower Quesadilla: char-grilled cactus, roasted cauliflower with a spicy salsa verde; it is just a great duo. This cocktail gets a complete 10/10 in my books; it tastes amazing, it looks great on the Instagram. What is not to love about it?

Which cocktail is your favourite?
